The North Light Task Plus 3TM is a lightweight cut level 3 glove that offers a great compromise between mechanical protection and wearer comfort. Barely heavier than a cut level 2 glove, it offers twice the cut protection, but with very little effect on tactility and dexterity. This makes it an excellent choice for applications where mechanical hazards exist, but worker feel is important. The Light Task Plus 3TM is ideally suited to material handling and assembly work involving sharp objects like sheet metal, metal shavings, glass and metal parts.
North Light Task Plus 3TM features a seamless Dyneema® shell with a tough polyurethane (PU) palm coating.
Dyneema® is up to 15 times stronger than steel (weight for weight) and it outperforms aramid fibers in cut
and abrasion resistance.North’s Dyneema® shell is stretchy and form fitting, allowing superior dexterity.
The PU coating provides exceptional abrasion resistance, but is light enough to ensure workers retain outstanding dexterity and tactility.
A little heavier than the NFD15, the NFD16G offers twice the cut resistance and its gray color hides dirt, making it a good choice for many tough applications. The back of the glove is un-coated, for ventilation and comfort.
