my husband uses these boots in the coal mines, they are very durable and easy to get off an on. he likes the length for comfort and makes it easy to walk in them compared to the higher ones. the length is also good for keeping water from getting into the boot when they have to trudge through some water. overall, he would not wear any other kind of boot and has been wearing this brand for several years

Very comfortable. Feet feel well protected. Arch is stiff enough to climb in (I'm an apprentice power lineman). So far I really like these boots.
