Waterproof - Timberland's premium waterproof leathers surround a water-impermeable lining to keep feet dry and deliver the best waterproof protection.
Insulated - Efficient 3M® Thinsulate™ Zone non-quilted lofted insulation (400g/600g) for warmth without bulk. More insulation and loft is provided where heat loss is greatest, while less insulation is used where not needed. The result is enhanced performance, increased comfort and reduced thermal conductivity.
Made for Cold Weather - Underfoot aluminized Mylar® polyester film insole prevents heat loss from ground contact. Low temperature outsole formulation maximizes traction on cold surfaces (Tested using SATRA TM144:2007 frosted rough ice surface) and extends flexibility in cold environments.
Outsole - Specially formulated solid polyurethane elastomer compound provides enhanced traction on frosted ice surfaces, maintained flexibility and slip-, oil- and abrasion resistance.

Antimicrobial - Contoured open-cell polyurethane footbed with Dryz® Intellitemp™ X-Static® combined technology sock cover provides superior moisture management, temperature regulation, and Agion® antimicrobial protection.
