These boots are great. As a retired wildlife biologist and conservation educator and still an outdoors person, I have worn many different outdoor shoes and boots. These are among the best that I have ever tried with the main reason being their overall, unsurpassed comfort. They do a great job of keeping trash out and just plain feel good. Also, they do not slow me down -- they allow me to keep up with my 2 young grandsons in the woods and fields.

I have had the wetland muck boots for 1 year. I track in all kinds of weather with my dog, and my feet stay dry all year round. These are the best boots in the winter, as my feet stay warm in very cold temperature. I have had other boots and they do not compare to the wetland.
I swear by them, and purchased two other pair as gifts. The recipients love them too!
The only thing I have trouble with is that my feet are very hot in the summer.

These boots are possibly the best "gear" investment I've ever made. I am responsible for dewatering activities on a construction project bordering wetlands and am constantly walking through mud and swamp water as deep as the boots are high. They have proven to be completely waterproof, warm, comfortable and supportive. They are easy to get on and off and have a tread pattern on the sole that is appropriate for the construction site. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the uppers are susceptible to tearing under rough conditions. I put a hole in one upper within the first two weeks due to my not being careful enough. That was easily repaired with aquaseal. However, I would like to see a more durable surface on the neoprene. They fit true to size and have been indispensible under my current work conditions.

My husband's first pair of these boots lasted 5-6 years of heavy livestock farm use winter and summer. His first pair of Wetlands Muck boots continued to keep his feet warm and dry this past long cold, snowy winter. Even though they appeared cracked and tattered from heavy use, they kept his feet warm. We were amazed.
For his birthday, I looked at the name on his first pair of boots and ordered him another pair just like the first ones. After searching, found these online. Now, April is rainy and muddy and the water is deeper here on the farm, and these new Wetland Field Muck boots are just as great as the old ones. He appreciates the fact that they are so easy to get on and off and so comfortable on his feet when he has to wear them all day long. They do not make his feet hot now that the weather is warmer, but kept him warm in the below normal winter temps. In addition, they are easy to clean with a hose. The fit is perfect for his size 11 wide feet. Since he does not wear Muck boots inside the house, they have to come off and back on 4-5 times per day. These are very sturdy boots and wear well for farm work in winter and spring.
Please keep the quality of these boots like they are now so that the next pair we buy years on will be just as good as the present purchase. The price at Gearcor was the best for this model. We had just about given up on finding a replacement pair. Thanks Gearcor

Best boots I ever owned. Like wearing a pair of slippers that are warm and waterproof. I will never buy any other hunting boots but Mucks!
