I'm very pleased with my Muck Boots. The last pair lasted over 5 years. We have horses and I use the boots to do my feeding and outdoor chores. They are a quality product. Great for mud and snow. My feet stay warm even in cold and snow. Definitely my favorite boots!

These boots were recommended by a landscaper when I told him of my upcoming trip to Alaska. The travel company had recommended that I buy Wellingtons for wet landings, but the landscaper said he wore Mucks and always recommended them to his customers. That was great advice! When I jumped off the skiff into water over my knees, no water got in my boots. When I continued wearing them bushwhacking, they provided the foot support I needed to walk over uneven, rocky, wet, muddy terrain. My husband who borrowed traditional Wellies, had water in his boots and complained that they provided no support. The Mucks were wonderful in Alask and now I will also get to enjoy them in my own yard while I garden on those wet, mucky days.

These are the perfect farm boots for this Oregon country gal. I used my last pair (exact same kind) daily for 5 years before one of them finally got small tear at the crease where the top of the boot bends at the toe. I could have fixed it with some ShoeGoo, but went ahead and spoiled myself with a new pair. The tops had stayed rigid and the boots took a beating without any visible wear! The Classic has the greatest sole for this Oregon clay, which is wet and slippery most of the time, and is concrete hard in the summer. Good for walking, gardening, working with animals. I use them like a tool, really, kicking and stomping mud and straw all around this small farm! I had tried the Hoser Equine (has a horse logo on the side), but the sole doesn't have enough traction for clay and unlevel surfaces and I had some falls. The Equine isn't for mud, I should have realized, it's for straw, dirt, and manure.
